Futian Shangri-la, China

PDG were commissioned to manage the full scope of landscape architectural services which required three separate approaches to amalgamate the different zone functions. The design within the hotel is a modern interpretation of a Balinese theme which was applied to the roof terrace function area, ground level and the hotel entrance, restaurant breakout spaces and overall garden design. The connection to and the surround of the hotel frontage and commercial entry plaza established a clear urban treatment focusing on strong paving patterns, strong planting design and custom light fittings and street furniture.
